SOMEBODY IS RAISING THEIR KID RIGHT!
One Nation 'Under God'
One day a 6 year old girl was sitting in a
classroom. The teacher was going to explain
evolution to the children. The teacher asked
a little boy: Tommy do you see the tree
outside?
TOMMY: Yes.
TEACHER: Tommy, do you see the grass
outside?
TOMMY: Yes.
TEACHER: Go outside and look up and see
if you can see the sky.
TOMMY: Okay. (He returned a few minutes
later) Yes, I saw the sky.
TEACHER: Did you see God up there?
TOMMY: No.
TEACHER: That's my point. We can't see
God because he isn't there. Possibly he just
doesn't exist.
A little girl spoke up and wanted to ask the
boy some questions.
The teacher agreed and the little girl asked
the boy: Tommy, do you see the tree
outside?
TOMMY: Yes.
LITTLE GIRL: Tommy do you see the grass
outside?
TOMMY: Yessssss!
LITTLE GIRL: Did you see the sky?
TOMMY: Yessssss!
LITTLE GIRL: Tommy, do you see the
teacher?
TOMMY: Yes
LITTLE GIRL: Do you see her brain?
TOMMY: No
LITTLE GIRL: Then according to what we
were taught today in school, she possibly
may not even have one!
(You Go Girl!)
FOR WE WALK BY FAITH, NOT BY SIGHT'
II CORINTHIANS 5:7
Don't forget to pass this on! I love this one.
Everyone should send this to everyone they
know, especially today with prayer restricted
in schools.. Forward if you believe in GOD!!!!

That's hilarious, obmar.
Although the analogy by RT is appropriate, I personally feel that religion has no place in the classroom. The joke is well made and certainly carries its message, but for me, we should not burden our children with concepts that may conflict with their upbringing at home. This is not a critique of the joke itself, which I find very funny and timely, rather it is a tangential statement on the backdrop used to carry the joke's message.
I say this because I receive many similar jokes from my cousins who mean well, but who don't realize that their message might conflict with the child's upbringing at home. Certainly school should be the last place where a child needs to find conflict between his parents beliefs and the beliefs of others. |

The same should apply to other folks raising kids that you brought in this world just cause both parents feel they need to get out and work to support the family unit.
The good Creator blessed you with 'em...
Why should someone else be the responsible party for their moral or ethical up bringing just cause the parents desire to live above their means. |

I stopped by the highway to buy durian
and the man asked if I stay in these parts
I said, no, I am on my way to
send my son back to college.
He had a bad fever and was hospitalised for three days.
The man said,
"Hmm, son see how your dad loves
you, he takes time to send you back to college.
I have two children in the university, and I had never been to their
universities, only their mum do that.
Remember that son,"
We bought the durian and ate it, there.

It's no wonder you don't ever have to worry about taking vitamins...
The healthy way you eat all the time.
