In making Biodiesel:
issue
In making biodiesel,
the wvo that you collect sometimes has a certain additive to make the
restaurant veggie oil(not sure howit is called) last longer. How do
you get rid of this without significantly affecting the quantity of wvo?
I normally settle wvo in 55 gal barrels before using wvo.
Getting oil from places like taco bell were they fry chips and stuff
that gives out some really small particles that are hard to settle,
how do you deal with this without having to clog your 1 micron filter
at the end?(Looking for a less obvious answer).
and someone answered...
Filter through old denim pants legs. Tie or sew closed at the bottom and
there you have it. If you want you can even flush them out and then wash
and reuse. Just make sure you don't have any holes in them.
