Looks like an average neigborhood I live in...
Oh by the way, we have several inches of SNOW...
Where you can't see the ground any more.
It's nice since it's not all that cold. |

They had stalls set up at about ten at night
and closes at about three in the morning.
My daughter from the Uni came back. A cousin
of her also at the Uni were also here so we all went
out at 11.30 and came back nearly 2.00.
Had late supper there as well. |

| Can't do that here at night any more in the states unless you wanna get mugged, robbed or shot. Some places you can't even do that in the daytime without taking some kinda weapon for protection... |

pity.
we are quite safe in that respect.
actually you should try www.wikimapia.org
and try locations you are familiar with.
it is interesting as you can add things to it. |

I would sincerely love to live in Blacksbury, Virginia.
Very quiet, peaceful, like living out in the country.
Look what happened to Virginia Tech...
Located in Blacksbury, Virginia.
It could happen to anyone, anytime, any place.
When I was little, growing up, us kids went all over the place without our parents. We walked to school, we went to the shopping center to window shop without our parents, went to the beach without our parents, went every where without our parents. Plenty of kids in the neighborhood to play with. Now people behave as tho' they are afraid to let their kids outdoors. When we were kids we played games like, hide and seek, jump rope, kick ball, etc. It's very strange when I drive thro' a neighborhood now, I see not one child out playing.
When I was young you heard, read about violence in any country, state, whatever but my own. Now you hear read about these things happening in your own neighborhood, either it's happening down the street or it's now your next door neighborhood doing violent things. A neighbor you have known all your life, who had kids you grew up or went to school with.
Used to be it was nothing to borrow a cup of sugar from your next door neighbor, sit, have coffee, get to know each other. Don't trust my neighbors, afraid to get to know them. |

When you put your cursor over the blocks, I get a few that says...
"I'm going to leave this house by 2009", is what one of them says.
Another says "We live here".
You have a 7/11 convenient store...
I should own a franchise in several of those as much time as I spend their. |
