I think there pretty good...

How do you know that, Harris???
Harris Brio

The way they spell their Arabic names...

Rachid is French sounding as opposed to Rashid which is Arabic sounding. Algerians use a lot of French in their language... Their features are Berber...

When the French, the enlightened ones as some one here seems to believe, colonialized Algeria they forbade Arabic, it was illegal to speak it. Arabic became an underground language because it was not being taught in schools anymore. Since this happend for a sustanial length of time the Algerian Arabic became more French sounding and less Arabic sounding...

Yeah they call it fusion music, type fusion music in the youtube search engine you'll get tons more... Technically performing on stage is not strictly Western culture. Lots of cultures have artists that perform on stage...

The first I have ever heard of this...

There was an Algerian Holocaust also...
But why???

After the Algerian troops helped liberate France from the Germans, they wanted liberation from the French. But as typical of colonial masters they refused... Then the French decided those that fought for France had to be rounded up and killed because they had military training along with being combat veterans... And that's what the video is, it shows French rounding up soldiers who liberated France... Most were killed. Some fought back, but the French didn't have anyone to do their fighting for them, so they just starved another 1.5 million civillians to death...
obmar

Now you remind me.

My grandfather had then a car
before the Japanese invasion troops reaches the town.
the British had decreed that anyone who had cars
shall have the cars assembled in the town field
and all cars (british/western product) must be destroyed.
Even though the had bought the cars.

His partner had three cars burned and the old man cried.

His son, later joined the jungle forces to fight the british.

Why did the French need liberating from the Germans...
Was it on account of Hitler and his nazis???

As Jackie Gleason once said...
"How sweet it is".

I see, Harris. So, history speaks volumes of how cruel and callous the Bristish were. Knowing Jewish Zionists, being excellent versed on history. Weren't about to let it happen to them. The Zionists have always been one's to be two steps ahead of their enemies.

Since the British had no intention of altering its anti-Zionist policies, then pops in the Haganah, Irgun Zevai Le'umi - Etzel, and Lohamei Herut Yisrael—Lehi gangs with thier own organized struggle or plans against British rule. They had had enough of Hitler, they weren't about to let the Bristish do the same. Haa haa haa!!!

Thank you for the short history lesson. I do love these discussions, Harris.

Slight problem in what you mentioned. The groups listed attacked Palestinians. You may not be aware of this but Arabs are not British...

Now you could end up calling the Zionists terrorists. Do you really want to do that Rachel...

Members of the Irgun, commanded by Yosef Avni and Yisrael Levi and dressed as Arabs and as the Hotel's distinctive Sudanese waiters, planted a bomb in the basement of the King David Hotel in Jerusalem, part of which was being used as the base for the Mandate Secretariat, the British military headquarters and a branch of the police Criminal Investigation Division.

91 people were killed, most of them staff of the secretariat and the hotel: 28 British, 41 Arab, 17 Jewish, and 5 other. Around 45 people were injured.

91 people were killed, most of them staff of the secretariat and the hotel: 28 British, 41 Arab, 17 Jewish, and 5 other. Around 45 people were injured.

Irgun leader Menachem Begin stressed his desire to avoid civilian casualties and said three telephone calls were placed, one to the hotel, another to the French Consulate, and a third to the Palestine Post, warning that explosives in the King David Hotel would soon be detonated.

On July 22, 1946, the calls were made. The call into the hotel was apparently received and ignored. Begin quotes one British official who supposedly refused to evacuate the building, saying: "We don't take orders from the Jews."1 As a result, when the bombs exploded, the casualty toll was high: a total of 91 killed and 45 injured. Among the casualties were 15 Jews. Few people in the hotel proper were injured by the blast.

In contrast to Arab attacks against Jews, which were widely hailed as heroic actions, the Jewish National Council denounced the bombing of the King David.

For decades the British denied they had been warned. In 1979, however, a member of the British Parliament introduced evidence that the Irgun had indeed issued the warning. He offered the testimony of a British officer who heard other officers in the King David Hotel bar joking about a Zionist threat to the headquarters. The officer who overheard the conversation immediately left the hotel and survived.

You make a point in bold to let me know how many Arabs were killed but all the other lives were meaningless to you...

Defending their right to live their own life, their own way, in a land of their own chosing, without being told how to do it, is not terrorism. If you're warned in advance to leave me or us the hell alone...

Sticking my tongue out at you...
So their!!!
