Messages indeed for people who use their intelligence.Truly, in the creation of the heavens and of the earth,
and the succession of night and day:

Do you know what the Quran says after that beautiful verse?
THis is what it says....
The Idols Disown Their Idolizers*
[2:165] Yet, some people set up idols to rival GOD,
and love them as if they are GOD.
Those who believe love GOD the most.
If only the transgressors could see themselves
when they see the retribution!
They will realize then that all power belongs to GOD alone,
and that GOD's retribution is awesome.
[2:166] Those who were followed will disown
those who followed them.
They will see the retribution,
and all ties among them will be severed.
[2:167] Those who followed will say,
"If we can get another chance,
we will disown them,
as they have disowned us now."
GOD thus shows them the consequences
of their works as nothing but remorse;
they will never exit Hell.

Signs for Those Who Use Their Intelligence

This passage is one of the many in which the Qur°än appeals to those who use their intelligence ( yaªqil ün ) to observe and reflect upon the wonders of nature, including the evidence of man's own ingenuity ( the ships that speed through the sea ), as so many indications of a conscious, creative Power pervading the universe. Everywhere there are signs that call us to wake up and notice how miraculous this life is. People with intelligence can have their hearts filled with awe and thus be led to what is essentially a religious consciousness. Faith and intelligence can serve each other. (The Book of Revelations, p. 26)

I have no faith in false gods.
For me there is but one true God. He may have many names, but He is the same everywhere. I know He will watch over me, as He will all of us. All praise and glory goes to Him (or as my father would say, "The racists will be quite schocked when they die, go to Heaven and see God .................... and find out She's Black).
