This is the tradition of taking care of, or "repairing" the world. Of seeking ways to improve our situation and of course, of others.

I believe Tikkun Olam is a majour influence which guided such great Jewish figures in history as, for example, Karl Marx to formulate his ideas about Socialism, which is really Democratic economics which benefit all.
