One of the things that I wish I could do before I leave and return to the Lord is to plant trees... Lots of trees.

I don't know how one would get started doing something like that.
Sounds to me like they would be the one to ask. Is it an organization registered with the "Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) Fund"??? CLICK HERE My employer does it where we work. Gives us a catolog with list of charitable organizations. We pick what all organizations we wish to contribute to, turn the form into our employer, he does the payroll deduction. Comes out of my salary every pay period. Keeps me from having to write a check, sending it off myself. If I had to do that it would probably never get done. Payroll deduction is so much easier. I'll tell you when I start planting.
A friend had agreed to be involved but he is away for his sacred journey, The Haj. He'll only be back by early January, next year. And we will start slowly. and steadily. |
