Major U.S. corporations and civil organizations are
launching a campaign to boycott channels that
broadcast shows of controversial radio anchor Michael
Savage after his hateful remarks about Islam.
Giant companies like JC Penny department stores,
Office Max stationary supplies and IT company Citrix
Systems have pulled all their commercials from the
show hosted by Savage, America in Arabic News Agency
reported.
In his show that aired on October 29, Savage launched
into a vicious tirade about Islam: "I'm not gonna put
my wife in a hijab. And I'm not gonna put my daughter
in a burqa. And I'm not getting' on my all-fours and
braying to Mecca. And you could drop dead if you don't
like it. You can shove it up your pipe. I don't wanna
hear anymore about Islam. I don't wanna hear one more
word about Islam. Take your religion and shove it up
your behind. I'm sick of you."
"Make no mistake about it, the Quran is not a document
of freedom. The Quran is a document of slavery and
chattel. It teaches you that you are a slave,"
continued Savage, whose real name is Michael Alan
Weiner.
"What kind of religion is this? What kind of world are
you living in when you let them in here with that…book
of hate? Don't tell me I need reeducation. They need
deportation…Without due process. You can take your due
process and shove it," Savage said.
The show, called 'The Savage Nation,' airs on more
than 350 radio stations across the U.S. to an
estimated 8 million listeners a week, but now major
advertisers are moving to distance themselves from the
hate-filled host.
"We want to make clear that the opinions expressed on
the Michael Savage program—or any other program we
advertise in—do not in any way represent the views of
Citrix Systems or Citrix Online," Bernardo de
Albergaria, vice president and general manager of
Citrix Systems said.
Using the slogan "Hate Hurts America," a coalition of
religious and civic organizations has launched a
campaign against Savage and other shows that promote
hate, by putting pressure on advertisers to drop their
spots.
The coalition includes the California Council of
Churches, LA Jews for Peace, and The Council on
American-Islamic Relations (CAIR).
Earlier this year, another U.S. radio host likened
Muslims who fast during Ramadan to cockroaches.
"…Muslims don't eat during the day during Ramadan.
They fast during the day and eat at night. Sort of
like cockroaches," talk show radio host Neal Boortz
said on his hit show of the same name.

Just know that alot of Americans don't share his sentiments.
First I've ever heard of this one, so I'm gonna have to keep an eye out for him...

It can be...
It has it's share of nuts, fruitcakes, etc. just like Pravda.
Once in a blue moon you have some real hard core nut case step over the line, admins or mods ban or suspend. The admins or mods are usually pretty fair about it. They give a poster like that, more than their share of opportunities to shape up or ship out. Been a member going on 6 yrs now and I love that style of forum and the spice and variety of posters it has. It's never a dull moment.
The lady "Kudzu" on my thread where I posted your article, I believe is Arab American. She defends Arabs, Muslims, etc. like there is no tommorrow. She has been a long time poster on Liberty Forum, lots longer than me.
Your thread got alot of hits...
Give it a try if your interested.

I don't think I can pronounce it but I will remember it for sure...
I also believe you know this gentleman from Pravda, who is a Zionist Christian minister or preaches like one. He also posts on Liberty Forum and I have gotten in a few discussions with him myself. He's good but I don't agree with everything he says...

My tongue gets tangled whenever I try to pronounce something in a foreign language for the first few times. I have to hear it lots before I finally get it right. I lived in Italy for about 4 yrs as a child (6yrs old). Only learned the basics like; hello, good morning, make a purchase at the market square, count to 10. Now I can hardly remember any of it.
Some think it's like riding a bicycle or driving a car. Once you learn you never forget.
I also used to be able to type 54 words a minute without looking at the keyboard. Now all I can do is seek and peck. Just goes to show if you don't use it all the time, you lose it.
