The United States is multi-racial and multi-religious.
Not allowed to be practiced where politics is concerned... Just like our school systems do not allow it cause our schools are for education; reading, writing and arithmetic only. We have to many different, a mix of to many different races and religions in our school systems, it would be considered discrimination, prejudice, bigotry, racism, etc. if one were allowed to be practiced but not them all. There are also people who are entitled to believe there is no such thing as God, they have the right not to be tormented, tortured, persecuted by those who believe. It's not that no one is denying your religious freedom but there are those who believe it is the God given right not to persecuted or have to listen to it. Not allowed in work place either. I have co-workers who try and do it all the time. They preach it but yet they don't live it. If all religions were allowed, practiced in our school system when would reading, writing and arithmetic get learned. The same with the work place. People would be using that as an excuse not to work, no work would ever get done. Cause there are so many different religions, everyone would probably be out doing themself on who's religion was better than someone else's religion. |

I believe the majority of nations, states, countries are with the exception of those individuals in a country or state who are racist, bigots, etc. All states and countries have there fair share of them. You can get to know some of our bigoted kooks here, Citizens Against Hate. If they break the law or laws within this nation they are dealth with by the law or our Judicial System. It's not perfect but if we didn't have one at all we'd be going back to being like cowboys, shotting it out in the middle of the streets. | ||||

I just saw the vid at the top. Very well done. The most important difference I've found between the three main monotheistic religions is the peacefulness I see in the eyes and the speech of Muslims. I'm sure there are militant, blood-thirsty ones out there, after all our media keeps digging up new examples to show us, but I have never actually met a Muslim that wasn't almost completely at peace with themselves and the world around them. Everything I see the Muslims do embraces peace and its covenents. It's no wonder that it is also the fastest growing major religion on Earth. I don't know why our media feels it's important to lie about Islam, as the gentleman stated in your vid, but it is a fact that since my earliest years of memory, I have consistently seen Muslims portrayed in a bad light and usually it contains elements of oppressioin of Muslims over Christians or Jews. There is such a disconnect between the religion of Islam and that which is portrayed in our media that I don't even bother listening to the media here when they discuss anything about Islam. It's always the same bs. After years of cultivating strong friendships with many Muslims, I know that the media lies about that religion tremendously and consistently. And when I hear people regurgitating those lies, even they more ridiculous ones like 72 virgins, I can't help but laugh at the mastery with which our media has sold their lies to the common person. |

You can't call it a LIE exactly unless it is or was done deliberately. Which I don't think so. Sometimes you have to break or take the structure of something like a sentence and break it down. What it can also mean in one society can mean something totally different in another. First, what you must do is define what a VIRGIN is??? Here's what I'm looking for... Notice here they define it as an ANGEL... virgin (noun): A pure, uncorrupted person: angel, innocent, lamb. SOURCE Now gentleman... What is an ANGEL and his either one of you ever seen one before??? I grew up believeing an angel was a spiritual being who has never had sex dawning a pure white robe with pure white wings, let's not forget the halo and the angelic face. Humor me, gentleman... What other kind of virgin angels are there??? Ever heard of winged babies erroneously called cherubs??? 
Cherubs and angels are seen on all sorts of art work, old churches, old paintings etc. You have but to google it to find proof of that. Each individual, culture, society... Past, present, future as their version of what a virgin or angel was or should be... Care to tell us about your version or defination of what a virgin or angel is??? |

That we can agree on...
The same with the Bible... Of a male gender, not female. We have both grown up hearing many different versions of what other societies and cultures consider to be angels. There has been many a debate on whether they exist or not. Some have even so much as assumed they are aliens, little green men from outer space. The must fascinating popular story that blew me away that I heard as a child was what Lucifer was at one time. He was once the must favored angel of our Creator and the must magnificent beautiful angel of them all. With wings with every imaginable gemstone; diamonds, saphires, rubies, etc. and hair of golden curls. Our Creator loved him out of all things in the heavens. This is before our Heavenly Father created the universe. See Obmar... I can only imagine if I were to travel, spoke to other cultures and societies, different races and religions, what their version story would be, where or how they learned of such things... That would be a good topic of discussion if Liberty Forum ever does come back up. Emailed a friend to find out but haven't heard anything back yet. Wonder what all the problem is??? Maybe I'll give him a call this weekend. |

are part of the pillars of faith in islam if people are aware that each one of us had assigned to them angels that record all things that we do, to be presented back on judgement day, the world will definitely be a safer place. |
