Don't these at home unless you're a professional.

Hum off tune to religious music on radio.

Listening to anything else on the radio but religious music to one of my co-workers is listening to devil worshiping music. It's not allowed or you will here complains.
The Inquisitor

Sorry to hear that, RT.

I have a similar problem at work, but that's with regards to President Bush. To say anything against him at work is to invite a trip to the HR office to be told not to support the terrorists.

Practicing your religious beliefs out in the open on company time isn't suppose to be allowed. I don't have anything against it provided the various people of different cultures or religions are also allowed to do it.
The Inquisitor

Actually,

Though I don't have anything against it myself, I would prefer an environment that doesn't allow it. I say this simply because I know that the only ones who would take full advantage of this would be the extreme Christians who would just love to blare their Christian songs loud for all to hear. I know that sounds very prejudiced on my part, but where I live there is a very vocal Christian majority surrounded by very docile minorities of other religions and cults.

As far as what one does and listens to on the internet in private, even at work, shouldn't be of company concern unless it directly affects the business of the company. I believe this is the way it is in France. However, out of respect for the company and fellow coworkers, the use of the internet for nonbusiness practices should be limited to moments inbetween tasks and shouldn't interfere with one's ability to be productive for the company.

Christians are the largest in the United States. Then there are the different varities of Christians who do not practice the same beliefs as other Christians.

Religion to me is a tool to develop a personal relationship with a Higher Power, whatever that might be and it should never be used to annoy or persecute others in any way shape or form.
The Inquisitor

I fully agree.

Everyone has a right to believe, or not, as they so choose. They shouldn't try to push their religion on others especially by taking advantage of government or other public institutions.

In any religion it must be a serious and sincere commitment to accepting principal and observe the rituals of that faith. To show little commitment to fulfilling the obligations of the religious faith the candidate would be no more religious then the man in the moon. To me it's not enough to call a candidate religious if they don't live it.
